FSIM Loss Control
FSIM is dedicated to reducing the number and cost of claims. One of the primary services FSIM provides to accomplish this goal is FSIM's bilingual, bicultural loss control representatives. FSIM's loss control representatives are safety specialists who have extensive experience in FSIM's targeted industries and perform a broad range of duties including:
- Conduct in-depth evaluations of prospective accounts to assist underwriting;
- Inspect facilities, equipment and operations to identify hazards or behavior that give rise to claims and then develop a plan to mitigate or eliminate those risks;
- Assist management with regulatory compliance;
- Provide training to instill a mindset of workplace safety among all employees;
- Provide heat stress training;
- Assist management in properly working within OSHA guidelines;
- Encourage implementation of incentive plans to promote safety;
- Continue to oversee its accounts' operations to modify safety programs as necessary and provide feedback to the account, FSIM underwriting and the broker.
